Shear-line for straight re-bar measuring and cutting

Straight rebar cutting plant from up to d32mm

The machine is equipped with up to three roller conveyors for easy transfer of the cut to length bars.
Electric-motor powered rollers covered with plastic (anti-friction coating) are available.
Automatic sorting and stacking of the cut to length bars with the help of mobile boomerangs. They open
and close with the aid of pneumatic pistons.
The roller conveyors movement is controlled by the operator, via either the electrical panel controls or
the remote control device.
2. Advance and cutting head
The feeding and cutting unit is equipped with three advance cogwheels, hydraulically powered and
placed just before the cutting tool. Free moving plastic and metallic rollers are placed above the
cogwheels mentioned. The measuring encoder is linked up the one of the free rollers.
Cutting process via hydraulic pressure.
Triangle-shaped blades are available. Six cutting edges are available before blades replacement
(patent).
Manually re-bar loading. The re-bar edges are introduced into a mobile clasp. Following they are
laterally moved towards the advance rollers. The procedure is aided by a manually arm.
The cut to length pieces produced from a bar may have the same or different lengths. This option is
available via the PC. In case that the produced pieces have different lengths, they can be stacked into
different bins.

3. Control panel
Two controls are available. One of them is placed above the feeding and cutting head (built-in industrial
PC available), while a touch screen along with an additional keyboard are placed on the main control
panel.
During programming, the length and the quantity of the rods as well as the stacking channel selected
are monitored.
Furthermore, various more data are visualized on the screen (e.g.: quantity, Kg, etc.)
All command buttons are placed on the 2nd control panel.

γ) USB memory stick
4. Hydraulic unit
All hydraulic components are only supplied by “VICKERS”, “DANFOSS” and “YUKEN”.
5. Pneumatic unit
The machine is equipped with air compressor.
The following units are air-pressure powered: tilting stacking; boomerangs´open-close function;
measuring rollers adjustment.
6. Electrical/Electronic unit
All electrical/electronic components are only supplied by ABB.
